JMW Digital x Festigirl

Festigirl is a Unisex clothing brand that produces unique and hand-picked festival and loungewear pieces and ships to customers all around the world. Festigirl came to JMW Digital with the goal of re-designing their Shopify store to improve the speed, conversion rate, and user experience. Wanting to take the brand to the next level, Director Abbie Holborn worked with our team to incorporate the new Festigirl branding into a customised Shopify theme. We were also tasked with setting up Instagram Shopping and integrating the catalogue with the new website, ready for the latest collection launch.

Development

Our team worked with Abbie to find a theme that matched the look and feel for the new website. Once installed we implemented the colour schemes and branding throughout customising to Abbie’s requirements. We then switched our attention to customising and optimising the user journey. Using our specialist fashion knowledge and experience we introduced a list of optimisations such as product filtering for attributes such as size, colour and department, as well as buy now pay later options from our partner, Klarna.

The Final Stage

With the website now complete and the new collection launching imminently, our final task was to tie everything together with the Instagram shopping functionality. At JMW Digital we understand that a great website by itself is not enough to generate consistent sales and as a result, we set Abbie up with the tools she needed to start advertising on the Facebook network when she was ready. This included the Facebook Business Manager, Ad Account, Pixel Installation, Product Catalogue, Commerce Account, and then finally Google Analytics for a holistic view of marketing activity.

 

The Results:

 

It was evident from day one that the new website was converting at a much higher rate than any of the previous months recorded. With the launch of the new collection, we wanted to monitor results over a prolonged period to avoid skewed data caused by the launch event. With COVID severely impacting the hospitality and events industry, we compared the post-launch results to the entire year of 2019 to get the fairest reflection of our achievements. Some of our notable results included increasing revenue by 63%, conversion rate by 113%, and average order value increased by 17%.
